Our commitment to safeguarding

At Colegio Pedro de Valdivia Las Condes, safeguarding is more than a policy — it is a shared commitment across our entire school community. We are dedicated to ensuring that every learner feels safe, healthy and supported in an inclusive environment where they are valued and cared for. Together, our teachers, staff and families work to protect children from harm and to help them grow with confidence, both academically and personally.

Our security measures include:

Safeguarding policy

Safeguarding policy

  • Student wellbeing and protection are a shared responsibility across the whole school community
  • Our trained professionals are here to support and guide students who may be at risk or in need of protection
  • We promote safe and respectful interactions through clear expectations that support student wellbeing and safeguarding
  • All visitors are required to sign in at reception using a QR code and state the purpose of their visit
  • Any situation that may represent a potential risk should be reported immediately to a member of staff
  • In the event of an evacuation alarm or lockdown, the school community is expected to follow the guidance of the Emergency Leaders
  • If an accident occurs, immediate support should be sought from trained staff and first aid procedures should be followed
