To apply, families must complete the registration form, submit the student’s birth certificate and complete a family questionnaire. Admission assessments are also required depending on the year group.
For international students, additional documentation is required, including a provisional enrolment certificate from the Ministry of Education, a national or provisional ID card and a birth certificate.

Required documents include:

  • Partial school report for the current academic year
  • Previous educational report (for Tiny to Year 1, where applicable)
  • Academic report and personal development report for 2024 and 2025 (for Year 2 to Senior School)
  • Personal and social development report for 2024 or 2025

Our admissions process is designed to ensure that each learner can integrate successfully and thrive in a supportive environment. We assess skills, knowledge and socio-emotional development in order to provide personalised support.
Priority is given to families who are aligned with the school’s educational project. We also offer a specific process for international and non-Spanish-speaking students.

We currently offer places across all year groups. However, due to high demand, availability may vary, so we encourage families to request the latest information at the time of application.

The application process includes the following steps:

  • Initial contact: Speak with our team to resolve any questions and learn more about our educational project. You can also arrange a visit so we can support you from the very beginning.
  • School tour: Visit our school, explore our facilities and meet members of the team. This is an opportunity to discover how we support every student’s holistic development.
  • Submit your application: Our team will guide you through the application and documentation process. Once everything has been received, we will help coordinate your child’s participation in the skills assessment day.
  • Assessment day: Depending on the year group, your child will be invited to attend an assessment or skills evaluation day. Results and guidance will be shared within 5 working days.
  • Enrolment and welcome: Once results are confirmed and a place is available, you can complete the enrolment process. We will support your family from the start so that you feel part of our community.

Kids Club is our extended day or After School programme for students from Play Group to Year 4, with different timetable options available until 6.30 pm.
It has been created to provide students with a safe, enriching space beyond the regular school day, where they can continue learning, develop new skills, explore new interests and strengthen their personal and academic growth. The programme supports children’s holistic development through activities that promote motor, language and social skills, problem-solving and creativity.

Our educational approach is constructivist, supported by active learning methodologies, project-based work, the development of socio-emotional skills and English immersion from the early years.

Learning journey

The school offers education from Early Years (Tiny) through to Senior School (Year 12 / IV Medio), organised into four stages: Early Years, Primary School, Middle School and Senior School.

Middle School includes Year 5 to Year 8 and focuses on developing independence, critical thinking and responsibility. At this stage, students strengthen both their academic progress and their socio-emotional development.

Senior School covers Year 9 to Year 12 (I to IV Medio) and is designed to prepare students for university and their future pathways. It includes university guidance, advanced English programmes, international assessments, and preparation for both PAES and Cambridge examinations. The Pedro de Valdivia pre-university programme is also included within the school timetable for Year 11 and Year 12 (III and IV Medio).

Admissions

The admissions process includes an initial enquiry, a guided visit (School Tour), submission of the application and supporting documents, academic and socio-emotional assessment, communication of results, and completion of enrolment.

Families are asked to provide the application form, the student’s birth certificate, academic reports and educational records, as well as any additional documentation required for international applicants.

Assessments vary according to the year group. In Early Years, children take part in age-appropriate play-based activities. In Primary, applicants complete language and mathematics assessments. From Year 2 onwards, English and academic performance are also assessed.

Assessment results are usually shared within approximately five working days of the evaluation day.

Priority is given to siblings of current students, children of alumni or staff members, and families who are aligned with the school’s educational project. Remaining places are allocated according to merit and availability.

Fees and re-enrollment

The school publishes an annual calendar with re-enrolment dates for each year group. The process can be completed online through the web portal or in person at the school office.

Payments can be made by credit card, debit card or bank transfer. If families experience any difficulties, they can contact the Administration team at npizarro@cpdv.cl.

The school offers internal benefit programmes, as well as a Family Referral scheme that provides discounts or benefits to families who recommend new families that go on to enrol.

The school has a School Coexistence Management Plan and Internal Regulations that guide relationships across the community, promoting respect, inclusion and positive everyday interactions.

The school implements protocols for early identification, psychoeducational support and restorative action, helping to safeguard the wellbeing and protection of all students involved.
